![]() ![]() Until it all changed and got down the drain.īUT. It was a fun game, it was complex yet playable. Level them up and sell them for pretty money to make another player happy. Man, I remember getting nice horses from the market for just ONE COIN (anyone remember the horses-for-one-coin?). ![]() They didn't move, indeed, but I think they looked better in 2D and motionless than those alienoid spawns we get nowadays.Īlso, the game used to have a forum and the community was quite friendly and helpful. When I joined, back in 2010, the game had a nice cozy layout and the horse graphics were good to go. See how the title reads - 'it used to be'. I suggest not to waste your time with this game. If you want to do just about anything that would otherwise be quick, it takes extremely long. There are so many more reasons I could list, but these were the main ones that just made my experience not as enjoyable as I hoped it would be. Considering the moderators I have seen, I wouldn't be surprised if some of these mini-mods were indeed promoted. Blog comment sections are plagued by mini-moderators trying to catch and report random things that "are probably against the rules" seemingly in hopes of being promoted to moderator. Most moderators I have encountered will warn you or even go as far as giving you a temporary ban (actually a mute, I don't know why they decided to call it a ban) from the chat for something as minor as using abbreviations or incorrect grammar. The moderation of the live chat is terrible. It would take me hours to enter the few horses I had into shows which would otherwise have taken a few minutes without the animation. If you want to do nearly anything, like work as a vet/stablehand, enter in shows, make tack, or interact with your horse, every single action plays a long animation. The tutorial is so excruciatingly long, slow, and glitchy that I just recommend skipping the entire thing and figuring things out on your own. If you're wanting to play this game or a game similar to this one, I'm sure that 99% of other horse breeding games out there are better than this one. If any other players see this, I hope you are doing well. ![]() Less and less people would play, and now it seems we have lost the old thing all together. The game never got another good update, for years it just slowly got more bugs and glitches. Some of the long time members stuck around but most of them left, and as the days went on the game got quieter and quieter. but most of these features were sadly removed and never replaced. In the olden days there was a huge community, with hundreds of players online at a time, the chat was active, there were clubs, player owned shops, auction. Unfortunately, when the gane was updated they made the layout so small and clunky that this became basically impossible. ![]() Some of which looked nice.īack in the old days, we could create our own layout and even code it to play music, and had tons of space to do so. If that is the case, here are my final thoughts on AVH.Īs a longtime player, AVH changed a lot over the years, it went from a very basic style to a newer game with more up to date graphics. The server has been down for a while so I'm going yo assume it is gone forever. ![]()
